Robert Galletti
Associate
Robert joined Sangra Moller LLP as an associate in 2022 after practicing at a prominent regional firm. His practice focuses on corporate, commercial and securities law, including structuring new ventures, domestic and cross-border debt and equity financings, exchange listings, mergers & acquisitions, shareholder relations, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance across numerous industry sectors, including technology, natural resources, health sciences, gaming, and media & entertainment, among others. Robert also routinely advises private and public companies operating in Canada and internationally on a variety of commercial, intellectual property, and employment matters.
Robert has been a lecturer in corporate and professional ethics at the University of British Columbia, Allard School of Law, and an instructor of Entertainment Law at the University of British Columbia School of Professional Development. Early in his career, Robert was General Counsel to Canada’s then largest independent film production studio. He has acted as lead production counsel on over 40 feature films and several television series.
Robert received an LL.B from the University of British Columbia in 2004, together with a Certificate in U.S. Legal Studies from the University of California Hastings College of the Law. He received an LL.M in Securities Law from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2011. In 2001, he received a B.Mus (Performance) with High Distinction from McGill University. He was called to the British Columbia bar in 2005.
Robert is fluent in French.
